Help support those who support your First Responders!
The Marlboro VFD, along with many of the Prince Georges County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association members support the mission of the Badges United Foundation in their mission to help First Responders. Lets support them by supporting this fund raiser.
FROM BADGES UNITED
We’re launching an emergency fund later this year to help support First Responders financially as they seek mental health treatment. All fire responders can apply for the fund if they need financial assistance with mental health care. After being informed the average deductible for inpatient mental health treatment is $2,500 day 1 of treatment, we knew we had to help. We’re launching this fund available to all First Responders seeking mental health treatment.
We’re hosting the “Real American Heroes Bash” on September 21 from 7 pm to 11 pm at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland . It’s all you can eat, drink (beer and wine), raffles, live and silent auctions, DJ, and lots of fun. All the proceeds raised will go directly into the emergency fund.
We would be honored if you would attend along with anyone else.
We hope you can join us and help us make it a packed house! We also have a representative from the Gary Sinise Foundation attending the event. They’ve been doing a lot of great work getting First Responders the equipment they need to save lives!
Thanks again for all you do!
