Once a year the Marlboro VFD does a mail out fundraiser with the help of OCS Fundraising http://www.ocsmail.com/Fundraising.cfm with the amount of scam calls, porch pirates and questionable fund raising efforts we want the community to be informed that this is a legitimate fund raising efforts by the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department.  Our department pays for printing and mailing done by OCS after the letter and photos are approved by us, and the fund drive letters are mailed out.  We want you to know this is not a shared fund drive (half to us half to the company), and all donations mailed in or brought to the station are 100% going to help the volunteers.  Most recently one of our Engines has been placed out of service, and we also suffered damage to one of our command vehicles.  The generous donations of our community partners will help with the replacement of the engine and repairs to the command vehicle.  We appreciate the support of our community and want to wish everyone Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and hope you all have a happy, safe and prosperous new year.
