Charles J. Kerr, is a direct relative of Chief Kerr, and was an early member of the department in the 1930’s. There are very few records from this time frame but a search revealed he was born in 1902 and was laid to rest 1962, with his final resting place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland MD.
