Horace W. Traband was an early member of the department in the 1930’s. There are very few records from this time frame but a search revealed he was born on February 27, 1918 and was laid to rest October 27, 1996, with his final resting place at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery, Upper Marlboro, MD.  He is the brother of Charles and John H. Traband.
