Robert Hall Simms was born on April 9, 1926, he was an early member of the department, and is one of the many Sims family members who have been dedicated members of the department.  He served a variety of positions in the department was President in 1969.  On May 19, 2012 the department was notified of his passing, and his final resting place is the Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Maryland.
