Robert Simms has a strong family tie to the department and served the department faithfully for many years.  He held many positions including President in 1969, and chief 20 B in 1977.  He was born on June 22, 1948 and was laid to rest in 1995.  His final resting place is the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
