Turn Around Don’t Drown
At approximately 0900 am this morning the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department responded to the area of John Rogers Boulevard and Brown Station Road for the report of a Water Rescue possible drowning. The Engine with a volunteer crew on standby for the storm and Rescue Squad responded to the call. The driver of a small SUV decided to traverse the moving water from the creek that had covered the road and the drivers car stalled in the water and placed th 911 call. The driver was successfully removed from the vehicle without incident. This is just a reminder to Turn Around Don’t Drown, as little as 6 inches of water can lift and move a car!
